Corrections and source updates

Taking Down Words does not currently publish a monitored public mailbox. This page will display one when a verified address is available; we will not invent an address that may bounce or go unread.

For a correction, include the full page URL, quote the sentence or figure at issue, explain what appears wrong, and provide a primary or authoritative source where possible. That lets us check the claim without guessing which passage you mean.

Copyright and attribution

For a copyright, licence or attribution concern, identify the exact page and material, describe your relationship to the work, and explain the change requested. Valid notices are reviewed and the affected material may be restricted while facts are checked.

Privacy and safety

Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment-card details, private keys, medical records or other sensitive personal data. This site does not need them to investigate a page correction.

Commercial messages

Unrequested guest posts, paid-link requests and offers to disguise advertising as editorial content are not accepted. A source may point out an error without buying coverage or influencing the conclusion.
